3D Wax Printing Fees & Surcharges

Our 3D Wax Printing Fee’s Explained Simply:

We use the most expensive, technology advanced and secured 3D wax printers in the global market from 3D Systems, these printers are manufactured in the United States and their waxes are manufactured in Switzerland.

Clients can upload STL files via our job quoting system to receive automated pricing for most small, regular, and select large items.

Sizing categories:

For clarity, items are generally classified as:

• Small Items: Stud earrings, bails, small pendants (footprint smaller than a 10-cent coin).
• Regular Items: Wedding bands, engagement rings, mid-sized pendants (footprint of around a 50-cent coin).
• Large Items: Cocktail rings, heavy duty signet rings, large pendants.
• Extra-Large Items: Bangles, bracelets, chains, pendants.

3D Wax Printing Fee’s Categories & Surcharges:

Pricing on this page and our job quoter system is based on standard trade-level volumes, if you are a medium to high volume business, please contact us to discuss tailored rates.

• Small Items: Minimum printing fee of $15.00 + GST per item for low-volume work.
• Regular Items Pricing: These items display prices accurately on our STL job uploader
• Large Items Pricing: Pricing may display correctly. If system pricing appears excessive, contact us for manual review.
• Extra-Large Items Pricing: Must be manually quoted.
  Automated system pricing (e.g. $2,000+) is not indicative of final pricing.

Hollow Items Surcharge:

Hollow wax designs require additional processing and incur a surcharge:

• Small & Regular items: From $10.00 + GST per item
• Large & Extra-Large: Manual quotation required

This surcharge:

• Does not appear in automated quoting system
• Reflects additional labour and consumables
• Is applied on your invoice once casting is completed
• You will be contacted prior to production to confirm surcharge price
